Aftercare Instructions – Lip Blush
To ensure the best healing and color retention, please follow these simple steps:
instructions
Apply healing balm.
Use a thin layer of the recommended ointment 2–3 times daily for 5–7 days. Do not overapply.
Keep lips clean and dry.
Avoid touching or wetting the lips for the first 24 hours.
No picking or peeling.
Let the lips flake and heal naturally. Picking can lead to scarring and pigment loss.
Avoid for 7–10 days:
Hot drinks, spicy or salty food, kissing or direct contact, makeup and skincare on the lip area, sauna, swimming, sun exposure.
Expect mild swelling, dryness, and flaking.
This is part of the healing process. Final color will appear softer and more natural in 4–6 weeks.
If you’re prone to cold sores, take antiviral medication as instructed before and after the procedure. Please consult with your primary care doctor before the appointment to get the correct dosage and timing for your situation.
